2. Email Integration & Limited Scopes (Google & Microsoft)
When you authorize GetUnsubs to audit recurring billing statements via official Google or Microsoft OAuth 2.0:
- Strictly Read-Only Access: We request read-only permissions (e.g.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly) solely to detect subscription receipts, invoices, and billing statements. - Zero Personal Message Reading: Our AI parser agent filters exclusively for transactional receipts and billing statements from recognized merchants. We never inspect, store, or analyze personal communications, contacts, or drafts.
- Zero Password Storage: Authentication occurs directly via official Google and Microsoft OAuth 2.0 tokens. GetUnsubs never sees, handles, or stores your email password.
3. Data Protection & Cryptographic Security
All data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 with 256-bit encryption. Message snippets processed during mailbox auditing are evaluated ephemerally in volatile memory and immediately discarded. No raw email copies are ever retained on persistent disks.
4. Zero Third-Party Monetization
Absolute Privacy Guarantee: GetUnsubs does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal information or transaction history to any third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks.
5. User Rights & Data Deletion
You maintain full control over your connected accounts. You may revoke access at any time through your Google Security Dashboard or Microsoft Account Portal. You can also request complete purging of any active session data by emailing us directly at privacy@getunsubs.com.
