2. Email Integration & Limited Scopes (Google & Microsoft)

When you choose to connect your Gmail or Outlook account for automated subscription auditing:

Read-Only Access: We request strictly read-only permissions (e.g., https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly) solely to scan for receipts, invoices, and billing statements.
Zero Personal Message Reading: Our AI agents filter exclusively for transactional receipts and billing statements from recognized merchants. We never read, store, or analyze personal emails, contacts, or correspondence.
Zero Password Storage: Authentication occurs directly via official OAuth 2.0 protocols provided by Google and Microsoft. GetUnsubs never sees, handles, or stores your email password.

3. Data Protection & Security

All communications with GetUnsubs are encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 and 256-bit encryption. Data processed in memory during automated receipt scanning is processed ephemerally and discarded.

4. Third-Party Sharing

GetUnsubs does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal information to third parties or advertising networks. We only process data necessary to generate your requested cancellation links and FTC legal refund demand drafts.

5. User Rights & Data Deletion
